What is small group training?

At Umbra, our classes focus on training small groups of up to 10 people.

Classes combine elements of high intensity interval training (HIIT), strength training, cardio and calisthenics. Each session is fun and dynamic - with plenty of variety and lots of individual coaching.

Our classes are designed to improve your strength and mobility, while improving your overall fitness. Classes are suitable for all abilities - from complete beginner to advanced level.

Our trainers will provide adaptations to ensure your training stays progressive and you see continued results.

Our trainers

  • Mitch

    Mitch is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and a Level 4 Strength and Conditioning Coach who focuses on functional methods of training to help you move and feel better in everyday life.

  • Laura

    Laura is Umbra’s Director and has worked as a Personal Trainer and fitness coach for over 10 years. Laura is passionate about all areas of health and fitness, and excels at motivating clients to achieve results.

  • Tom

    Tom is our BoxFit coach. He has a vast experience in the industry and has practiced boxing since he was at school.

  • John

    John is th head coach of our combat side. He has a vast experience in training as a coach but also as an athlete at the top of the game.
